TRAIL is ran with Workfinder, Newcastle City Council’s initiative to get people into work around Newcastle Upon Tyne.
If you live in Newbiggin Hall, Workfinder meets at D2 Youth Zone every Wednesday from 1.30-3.00, and can help you identify your needs and the steps you need to get a job, find and access training to update your skills. Also, they can help you put together a CV, fill in application forms, help prepare you for an interview and get access to current job vacancies.
Opportunities are available for grants aimed at the long-term unemployed or otherwise disadvantaged people who have the opportunity of taking up full-time employment but find the cost of buying essential items to start work prevents them from accepting.
